HIPA is an annual competition that will have different subjects, the first session of 2011 is divided into 3 categories.: The first & main category (Love of the Earth). The second category (General): you can participate in any public photo. The third category (Dubai): is any photograph that shows the Emirate of Dubai

Sakuraba Gallery, located in Sendai, Japan, announces their 2012 International art competition to recognize the best artists from outside of Japan.

The Federation of European Photographers (FEP) is a network of 24 National Professional Photographers Associations from 21 European countries, recognized by the EU and officially registered in Belgium.
The aim of this prize is to reward and stimulate creative initiatives by professional photographers, who may often be constrained with assignment work. The competition is totally web based; registering, hosting and judging will all be carried out online. There will be no subcategories.  Each entrant may submit up to 3 pictures. The entry fee is 10.00 Euro for each picture who is a member of the FEP or 20.00 Euro for each picture submitted by all others This is open for all Professional Photographers
The winners will be awarded at a special ceremony. The awards will consist of certificates and an “FEP European Fine Art Photograph of the Year Award” trophy. The best 13 pictures (First, Second, Third + 10 finalists) will be printed for inclusion in the awards collection and this collection will travel throughout major European countries.
