The exhibition Magic Realism & Real Magic presents 100 artworks - 100 fantasies from 10 photo-artists from Israel, Germany and Poland. 
In Magic Realism, the boundaries between reality and fantasy disappear. With photography and Digital Art, the artists have created a new reality of surreal paradoxes, metaphors and fairy-tale magic. We can summarize this exhibition in one sentence - these artists don’t photograph what is happening outside, but what is happening inside - inside our souls.
 
The exhibition opening on the evening of October 21th at 19:00, has gathered a a lot of visitors, who've expressed a deep admiration of the art they saw.  Among the honored guests were: Ben Lam -  a famous fashion photographer, Nissim Sanoa - the editor in chief of the "World of Photography" magazine, Zeev Hertz - the legendary veteran photographer, Sammy Somekh - the official representative of Photographic Society of America in Israel, Emanuel Ogdan - a well-known ballet photographer, Moshe Levi - the chairman of the Rishon photography club and many others...

The reception started with a fine wine and beverages in the candle light. The exhibition space was divided to 7 exhibition halls, which were organized according to common themes and mood.  The poster with artists biographies revealed the public that almost all the artists have an international recognition and are winners of many international awards. In addition to large artworks on the walls, all the computers monitors in the exhibition halls also displayed the slide-show of artworks directly from our site.

Gadi Boleslavsky - the exhibition curator - made a presentation, where he introduced each artist and told about the exhibition concept and about BSW-ART project.

The exhibition takes place in the Bredner-Moss library for Social Sciences and Management of Tel-Aviv University. It'll be opened until the beginning of January, so that everybody will have a chance to witness this unusual event. It's better to see once, than to hear a hundred times...
