Anke Merzbach - Germany

Anke Merzbach - Germany

When you plunge into Anke’s world you find yourself in a mysterious and magical labyrinth of fantasies in which you want to disappear and never to return…
In the world of art, Anke is known as a “Bildmacherin”, which means “Image maker” in German.  She creates a mysterious theater of strange and surreal characters. In this theater everything is staged, but the emotions are real.
Her world is full of contradictions and opposite poles. It’s a world where the real and surreal meet. There coexist side by side the casual and the unusual, the lyrical and the tragic, the familiar and the strange. It is melancholic, grotesque, absurdly distorted and yet so poetically beautiful…
No matter how strange are the characters that we meet in her imaginary world, all of them reflect the delicate poetry of her soul.

She is a well-known artist in many countries. She presented her artworks with great success at five solo exhibitions in Germany and Italy. She also published two personal art books, which are currently sold in various countries worldwide. Many photo artists from Germany and other countries attend her workshops.

Anna Bodnar - Poland

Anna Bodnar - Poland

Anna's artworks are devoid of pathos and edification. They are like a soft whisper or a quiet melody which are possible to hear even amidst a most noisy crowd. That soft sound is full of strong feelings that penetrate your soul deeper than the loudest scream and remain in your soul for a very long time…

She often photographs a nude body, because by means of nudity she believes it is possible to convey the human soul. The body can say about a person no less than his face, unless of course the body is represented vulgarly. In her artworks, she mostly demonstrates her own body because the absence of an intermediary between the photographer and the model eliminates the risk of misunderstanding.

Anna doesn’t give names to her artworks, because she doesn’t want to impose her interpretation on the spectator. Having left the artwork without a name, she gives it an opportunity to live its own life, which is limited only by the imagination of the spectator..

Today, Anna is a well known artist in Poland and around the world. She participated on over 30 photo-art exhibitions, 13 of which were solo exhibitions, and she is constantly being published in various photography and fine-art magazines. More...

Dina Bova - Israel

Dina Bova - Israel

Dina is a bright star in Photo-Art universe. Her world is full of allegories, metaphors and multifaceted associations. This world is sometimes absurd and paradoxical, sometimes strange and surreal, but this world is a reflection of her true feelings. In this world, different emotions coexist side by side: irony, fear, joy, pain, sometimes even madness and despair, but there’s always a presence of hope and there’s never hatred. She doesn't not like to impose her point of view on the spectator,  she only slightly opens a door to a wonderland , where everyone can find something of his own.
For Dina, art is something that appeals to our senses and emotions, and not to our intellect and instincts. Her language is the language of intuitive characters and metaphors.  She tries to avoid flat and primitive clichés, which appeal to our basic instincts, such as sex, fear or disgust.

Svetlana Bobrova - Russia

Svetlana Bobrova - Russia

The surreal world, created by Svetlana, is full of strange creatures. In this world everything is possible.
Her artworks are full of energy, passion and grotesqueness.  Like dreams, they are born from real anxieties and experiences, taking the spectator far into the depths of sub-consciousness. They have a hypnotic internal glow, which penetrates the eyes with tonal transitions of neon, green, yellow and blue.

Her technique is based on photography, but the final result is very far from it.
Computer graphics helps the artist to be spontaneous and improvise without losing the idea, to follow emotions and give them more unusual colors. Her original technique makes her works unique and recognizable masterpieces.

Svetlana studied art history in St. Petersburg University. Today she has a PhD degree in art history and she is a member of the International Art Fund. Since 2007, she has participated in five exhibitions in prestigious galleries of Moscow.
